Newcross currently have several Care Assistant / HCA vacancies for experienced carers to work in Chippenham, Devises, Melksham, Calne, Corsham, Malmesbury, Lyneham, Dauntsey and the surrounding areas through our locall Swindon branch.

You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each service user in your care. Daily tasks may include aiding them with personal tasks like washing and dressing, meal times and enabling them to participate in their favourite activities.
It's important you are confident delivering personal care with a mindful approach towards protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence. You will be working on either a 1-1 basis with service users or within a small team of Healthcare Assistants / wider MDT teams based in nursing or residential homes.
Work full or part time hours of your choosing with all the security of a permanent contract and minimum guaranteed hours.

To apply for this position, you will need the right to live and work in the UK, previous professional experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years and referee contact details to include a manager or supervisor who can comment on your clinical ability.
You will also need a certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.
A NVQ2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care and access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not essential.
