The Position

You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. Daily tasks may include assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and enabling clients to participate in their favourite activities.

Work flexible hours of your choice, determine your own rota and take advantage of free, ongoing training in your local area (FREE through our work credits). Previous experience in Dementia care is highly desirable for this role.

Person Specification

To apply for this position, you will need the right to live and work in the UK, previous professional experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years and referee contact details to include a manager or supervisor who can comment on your clinical ability.

You will also need a certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.

A NVQ2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care and access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not essential.
