Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
Based in the centre of Bristol and reporting directly to the CMO, this newly created role sits at the heart of our Marketing & Communications department. We're Newcross Healthcare. An independent organisation that provides highly trained staff, clinical expertise and administrative support to help care for sick and vulnerable people. We've been providing exceptional healthcare across the UK since 1996 and have a nationwide network of 60+ local centres and training facilities.
Our 7000+ Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers are some of the most highly trained and experienced in the UK. They do amazing work every day and we want everyone to know about it. It's not just that we're on a mission, we're creating a movement. As we grow, we need more awesome healthcare professionals to join us. So, we're investing in content to inform, inspire and attract the very best staff.
If you like variety and enjoy working with different media, including long and short form, this position will excite you. We're developing progressive ways to share our passion and expertise and need someone with a mix of editorial flair and technical know-how. In addition to some print, our focus is on email newsletters, web features, e-books, short films, documentaries, white papers, animations and a range of social media programmes.
So, the Digital Content Manager will need to be literate with all aspects of data and digital media and have a mastery of performance analytics to understand what's working, where and when. You'll also be adept at using social media management tools to help schedule and publish content optimally...and not just for Search.
You'll need to be to bring personality and wit to our content. You'll need the ability to switch between styles and audiences effortlessly; from light, heart-warming human interest stories to heavyweight clinical features. Some subject matters are fun. Some require tact and excellent judgement.
We want someone who can show vision and leadership by both devising and executing a content schedule and also responding swiftly to ad hoc opportunities as they arise. Collaborating with marketing colleagues, community specialists, managers, clinicians and trainers, you'll create original content that will;
- fuel campaigns and communications reaching a range of stakeholders and influencers
- strengthen relationships with employees, clients and service users
- share extraordinary stories about our healthcare staff
- communicate our operational priorities and commercial goal
