Who regulates us

Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission

In England, the services we provide to clients in their own homes, our Complex Care services are regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are regularly inspected against the essential standards of quality safety, and since Newcross began in 1996, we have regularly received ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ feedback for our inspections.

You can find out more about our registration details and view recent inspection reports on the CQC website

                        The Care Inspectorate

In Scotland, our branches are registered as Nursing Agencies with the Care Inspectorate who regularly inspect our services. All of the most recent inspection reports were graded at either ‘good’ or ‘very good’, which reflects our continued commitment to ensuring the highest quality service at every step.

You can view our registered branch profiles on the Care Inspectorate website by following the link and entering ‘Newcross Healthcare’ in the ‘service name’ box.

The Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales

Our Cardiff and Swansea branches in Wales provide services that are regulated by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW). Cardiff branch was only recently registered and so does not have any inspection reports published at present, however our Swansea branch is more established and passed its most recent inspection with pleasing comments such as ‘the service is well managed’ and ‘staff were competent and supported’.

You can view the profile and inspection reports (where available) of the Cardiff branch and the Swansea branch  on the CSSIW website by clicking on the links.
