Our growing Ipswich care team is working with several nursing home and care home clients in the local Great Blakenham and Claydon areas of Suffolk and we now have several care assistant jobs in our team.

 Unlike an agency care job you, we'll offer you a permanent contract, guaranteed hours and the support of a local line manager, but with all the flexibility you need to fit your work in around other commitments.

 The Position:

 You will be supporting service users and residents with their daily lives, ensuring they are able to live life in a fulfilling way. This could include a range of tasks such as assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and other general activities that allow clients to live their live the way they choose.

 A compassionate and dedicated approach to personal care makes an incredible difference to people’s lives. That is why we are seeking only the most caring individuals to fill this role.

 You should be willing to travel locally to reach client locations, with access to your own vehicle desirable.

Person Specification

  You will need to have the right to live and work in the UK, at least 3 months' previous paid care experience in the UK and suitable referee contact details to apply for this vacancy. You will also need a valid certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.
