Tell us a bit about yourself?

I live with my husband Rob, we’ve been together 19 years - he deserves a medal! I love spending time with my nieces and nephews, mainly because I get to give them back! Like a good night out with the girls, firmly believe it’s good for the soul.

What made you want to be part of the Newcross family?

So, the reason that I wanted to join Newcross is that I looked after my Mum, who was very poorly for a long time, lots of hospital stays, and the “agency” staff we had were atrocious and just in it for the higher hourly wage. I had lots of tantrums and battles to get the care that my Mum needed and deserved, and came to the realisation that not everyone has someone like me in their corner, but if I could place the best staff and carers into establishments and it made a difference to just one person’s experience, then it would be worthwhile.

What is the most interesting thing about you?

I’d like to think there are lots of interesting things about me, haha but I used to be a majorette and cheerleader!

If you could have dinner with any historical figure (dead or alive), who would it be?

Dinner would probably be, and there are so many to choose from, but Winston Churchill.
