Storm Emma brings a record number of calls for Central Support
As Storm Emma and the 'Beast from the East' hit the UK, our nationwide network of branches from Truro to Inverness began to feel their effects. Despite the blizzards and snow storms our Central Support Team took more calls than ever before, over 10,000 in just one week!
Our Central Support service underpins our capability to offer dedicated support for clients and healthcare employees throughout the UK, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Come rain or shine, [or in this case blizzards of snow] our Central Support Team remained steadfast in the face of adversity, in order to do this they worked long hours and stayed in local hotels.
Adversity brings out the best in people and the extreme weather has shown we have some of the very best people.
Sarah Quick, Central Support Manager said, "I am unbelievably proud of my team, they were troopers throughout the whole weather ordeal. Calls on the Thursday and Friday were nearly hitting a 300% increase on the week before! We hit over 10,000 calls for the week, a new record."
