Making people’s lives better is what we aim to do at Newcross. However, this isn’t limited solely to our service users. Newcross gives generously to a range of charities and acts swiftly in response to international disasters with immediate donations.
Last year, we donated £20,000 to Shelterbox, and in in previous years we donated £10,000, to help people left homeless following the devastating earthquakes that hit some of the poorest areas in the world.
The charities we pledge to raise funds for are: Sport Relief, Macmillan, Children in Need and the NSPCC. In just a year we raised a total of £4,373.79 for these fantastic causes. Due to everyone’s input, people in the UK and around the world will be leading better lives. Thank you to all of our staff for their contributions.
We are also committed to the Dementia Friends Scheme and actively encourage our employees to sign up to the initiative.
