At Newcross, we have over 23 years of experience of providing compassionate care in the home to support our clients in living an independent and dignified life. Our expert teams enable our service users to safely remain in the comfortable surroundings of their own home, with their loved ones. We empower the individuals in our care to live a life of their choosing and make the most of every day.
We strongly believe in the importance of a continuous care service. We assemble teams of highly-skilled and friendly healthcare professionals who can provide reliable care on a long-term basis, if required. Our staff forge meaningful relationships with our service users, their friends and families to assist, educate and deliver care with empathy.
We understand that arranging care for yourself or a loved one can be an emotional and logistical challenge. We are here to support you every step of the way. When you’re ready, you can arrange a free, no-obligation chat with us to discuss your needs.
Arranging support for a loved one or for yourself
We provide assistance to private clients with a range of complex healthcare needs, to support them and their families with day-to-day care. Whether you require an alternative to residential admission or a little bit of extra help here and there, we will work with you and your family to create a personalised care plan and build a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to meet your needs. Click here to learn more about the specialist services that we can offer, which includes elderly care and specialist dementia care.
We work with people who have Personal Health Budgets, some who top up their Personal Health Budgets with private funding, and others who decided to fully fund their own care. All clients can expect the same high standards of service.
To understand your needs, a Newcross nurse will carry out a home assessment. At this stage, a care plan will be written, taking into account the needs and preferences of the individual. Each individual care plan is quality-assured by our Clinical Governance department, a nurse-led team of clinical advisers.
We will advise and organise specialist equipment or room adaptations and assemble a team of care staff that have the required skill sets and personality traits to provide you with the best experience.
We understand that an individual’s care needs are likely to change over time. We regularly review care plans and can adapt our services accordingly. We also welcome feedback at every opportunity so we can consistently exceed expectations.
“Thank you for taking care of our son. Nothing is ever too much trouble for you. It is a tremendous responsibility and a lot of hard work but you always give your best.”

Personal Health Budgets
Local authorities assess the care needs of individuals. If they are deemed to need ongoing support with their healthcare, they may be eligible for continuing healthcare funding. For further information on this, please refer to the NHS funding page.
Some individuals are entitled to a personal healthcare budget. These budgets grant individuals greater autonomy over the type of care they receive, for example whether this is in a care home or their own home. You can access comprehensive guidance on how this works on the NHS website.
Privately funding care in the home
It is possible for individuals to self-fund their home care. This is sometimes the case when they do not qualify for local authority funding or want to enhance care by paying a little more.
We can set up packages of care to suit your needs, whether this is a few hours per week to offer respite, or full-time care.
Get in touch for a no-obligation chat about your needs and to find out more about how we can help. Our phones are answered 24-hours a day, seven days a week by a dedicated out-of-hours team. So, if you ever need to contact us, we’re here to help.
