This involves our dedicated healthcare professionals offering care and support which enables individuals to live independently in their own homes with their loved ones. Through providing private care at home, we can empower our service users and help their families too.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer a continuous care service and our team of highly skilled, compassionate healthcare professionals can offer private care at home on a long-term basis when required. Building meaningful relationships with both our service users and their family and friends is very important, and we work to provide assistance and education in addition to empathetic care.
Arranging Private Care at Home
If you’re looking to arrange private care at home for a loved one, we are on-hand to offer support during which can be an emotional and challenging time. Simply contact us for a free, no-obligation chat about your needs and we can assist in finding the right solution.
We provide private care at home to clients with a range of complex healthcare needs to support them and their families with day-to-day care. Whether you require an alternative to residential admission, or need a little bit of extra help here and there, we will work with you and your family to create a personalised care plan and build a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to meet your needs. Find out more about the specialist services that we can offer, including elderly care and specialist dementia care.
To understand your needs, a Newcross nurse will carry out a home assessment. At this stage, a care plan will be written, taking into account the needs and preferences of the individual. Each care plan is quality-assured by our Clinical Governance department - a nurse-led team of clinical advisers.
We’ll advise and organise specialist equipment or room adaptations and assemble a team of care staff that have the required skill sets and personality traits to provide you with the best private care at home experience. Rest assured, we regularly review care plans and can adapt our services accordingly. We also welcome feedback at every opportunity so we can consistently exceed your expectations.
“Thank you for taking care of our son. Nothing is ever too much trouble for you. It is a tremendous responsibility and a lot of hard work but you always give your best.”

Personal Health Budgets
Local authorities assess the care needs of individuals. If they are deemed to need ongoing support with their healthcare, they may be eligible for continuing healthcare funding which can be used for care at home.
Some individuals are entitled to a personal healthcare budget. These budgets grant individuals greater autonomy over the type of care they receive, for example whether this is in a care home or their own private home. You can access comprehensive guidance on how this works on the NHS website.
Our clients include people who have personal health budgets, some who top up their personal health budgets with private funding, and others who fully fund their own private care at home, and each one receives the same high standard of service.
Privately Funding Care in the Home
It is possible for individuals to self-fund their own private care at home. This is sometimes the case when they do not qualify for local authority funding or want to enhance care by paying a little more. We can set up packages of care to suit your needs, whether this is a few hours per week to offer respite, or full-time care.
Get in touch for a chat about your requirements and to find out more about how we can help. Our phones are answered 24-hours a day, seven days a week by a dedicated out-of-hours team. So, if you ever need to contact us, we’re here to help.
