Clinical Governance at Newcross Healthcare

Our Clinical Governance team

No matter how experienced you are as a healthcare worker, there will be times when you need some guidance and support. It’s for this reason that we have a knowledgeable Clinical Governance Team, who are on-hand to assist in times of uncertainty.

Our work to foster the highest standards in healthcare is underpinned by our Clinical Governance team. They oversee quality assurance and support with clinical complaints and incidents, nurse revalidation, and the ongoing development of best practice.

Under the leadership of Juliette Millard RN, MSc, our Head of Clinical Governance, our Clinical Governance Team are available for help and advice Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5.30pm, on 0330 0545520. Clinical nurses are also available on-call out during these hours.

As an experienced nurse herself, our Chief Operating Officer and co-founder Michelle Gorringe saw an opportunity to raise our game with the implementation of a Clinical Governance Team.

Michelle says, “I know that clinical support is one of the services that sets us apart. I believe we should always be striving to deliver more in this field.”

Nurse revalidation

Every three years, nurses in the UK are required to complete revalidation in order to maintain their registration with the NMC. Our Clinical Governance Team can offer revalidation support for nurses when renewing their registration.

Central Support

There are many essential components to Newcross. A part of the organisation that many might be unaware of is our wonderful Central Support Team. They are literally available 24/7, responding to enquiries outside of office hours or when branches are busy.

It is a seamless service, with calls being forwarded automatically. The hardworking Central Support Team – who handle over 1,400 calls every 24 hours – are often unsung heroes.
