Working closely with the operational team, you will develop and lead a business development strategy which creates effective and lasting relationships with clients, in particular CCG's and social services. You will train and mentor managers within new Complex Care launch locations ensuring they follow the business development strategy and achieve expansion targets.

Job Title: Complex Care Business Development Manager - Brighton/Eastbourne/Southampton

Location: Based out of a local branch with travel within Southern regions

Reporting to: Operations Director

Salary/Benefits: Basic Salary up to £50,000

Bonus opportunity of £30,000 PA

33 days Annual Leave, rising to 38 after 1 year, up to 43 with length of service.

The role:

You will be the driving force behind the expansion of our Complex Care division, launching complex care in 6 existing branch locations per year with the ultimate aim of having a complex care offering in all of our branch locations.

Working closely with the operational team, you will develop and lead a business development strategy which creates effective and lasting relationships with clients, in particular CCG's and social services. You will train and mentor managers within new Complex Care launch locations ensuring they follow the business development strategy and achieve expansion targets.

You:

In order to be successful in this role you will need natural leadership and influencing skills along with the ability to quickly build rapport and gain trust. You will also need to be passionate and driven with high levels of energy and enthusiasm and the desire to push forward and meet objectives. Proven leadership skills are essential as is the ability to inspire, motivate and coach people to perform at their best.

A strong background in business development is essential, ideally this will have been gained within complex care or home care provision. Experience of developing relationships with Care Commissioning Groups and Local Authorities is highly desirable as well as a successful track record of launching a new business or service.
