Newcross is an independent organisation that provides highly trained staff, clinical expertise and administrative support to help care for sick and vulnerable people. We’ve been providing exceptional healthcare across the UK since 1996 and our senior management team is still directed by practicing clinicians.
We employ over 7,000 Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers who are all permanent members of staff with guaranteed hours. Every member of staff is recruited through a rigorous selection process including detailed competency, qualifications, experience and background checks.
We provide an agile, responsive service to meet the constantly changing staffing needs of establishments including hospitals, clinics, hospices, care homes, surgeries and educational centres. Increasingly, we also provide one-to-one care, often in the private homes of service users.

Our clinical specialisms cover a broad spectrum of needs and circumstances including care of the elderly, dementia care, palliative care, medical and surgical. We also support people with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour.
We've been serving the needs of Scotland since 1997 and currently operate 10 local centres in the following locations: Aberdeen, Ayr, Dundee, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Hamilton, Inverness, Kirkcaldy and Perth.
In addition to dedicated local staff in every branch, we operate a unique Contact Centre providing assistance to recruits, staff and clients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our services are accredited to various international standards including quality management, ISO9001, data security ISO27001 and environmental policies, ISO14001. Our services in Scotland are overseen and regulated by the Care Inspectorate and consistently rated as 'Good' or 'Excellent’.

Since its foundation, Newcross has embraced technology and has pioneered a number of innovations in recent years to improve safety and efficiency.
