Take the next best step in your career as a Care Assistant!
As a Care Assistant in Exeter and the surrounding areas, you'll join a dedicated team of health and social care professionals to provide person-centred care in the homes of our service users. You'll be responsible for caring for a young boy no older than 10, who is living with complex requirements. You will be required to monitor his seizures throughout the night and completing MAR and seizure charts, along with assisting them.
Could you be our next caregiving hero?
We look for carers with at least 3 months of professional caring experience or having cared for a loved one. However, we’re not just looking for clinical experience - we also want candidates to be able to demonstrate occasions where they have exhibited our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness. You will need a valid Moving and Handling certificate.
The right to work in the UK is a must-have, and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
