Many vulnerable individuals in your community need health and social care to enable them to live a safe and fulfilling life in their own home. By working with us as a Care Assistant in Taunton, Bridgwater and the surrounds, you can help them to make the most of every day.

In this role, you will be working in the homes of children to assist with various complex healthcare needs. Your various duties will include aiding with personal care tasks, feeding and PEG care, posture care, trips into the community, social integration activities and day-to-day tasks such as dressing.

Here’s what you’ll need to apply

You'll need at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one, a valid certificate in Moving and Handling and the right to live and work in the UK. We also expect you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.

Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
