Job description

At Newcross, we’re leading the revolution in personalised home care. Join us!

As a Care Assistant in  Taunton, Bridgwater and the surrounds, you’ll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the people in our care. This role is a chance to make a real difference in children's lives - without your support, they may live a life constrained to specialist units or hospitals.

In this role, you'll be working alongside a small health and social care team providing quality care in the homes of children living with complex healthcare needs. Your duties will vary, including assisting with day-to-day living tasks such as personal care, posture care, feeding and PEG care, dressing, trips out into the community, social activities and any additional services required.

Employee perks

  • A competitive remuneration of up to £14.89 per hour, including holiday pay
  • Take control of when you get paid with instant Flexi Pay
  • Fixed hours on a rota basis
  • Access to Newcross World, a new world of learning, to manage skills, learn new ones and unlock new opportunities in the care sector
  • Access to NHS registered GPs and mental health support to avoid waiting for NHS appointments
  • Free DBS and uniform

Flexi Pay!

With Flexi Pay, you have the option to instantly access up to 50% of the value of your completed shifts, even on weekends and bank holidays! Available through our handy app, HealthForceGo.
