Newcross Healthcare are currently recruiting a Care Assistant in Plymouth and the surroundings, to join a supportive health and social care team in delivering the highest standard of care to children. You will be work in the homes of our service users to assist with various complex healthcare needs, including brain or spinal injuries, tracheostomy care, MS, epilepsy, physical disabilities and learning disabilities.

Complex care roles with Newcross provide you with a unique chance to take on new responsibilities and receive specialist clinical training in areas such as PEG feeding and tracheostomy care.

Care Assistant skills and experience

You'll be a patient, reliable and empathetic carer, with at least 3 months of experience caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt and a valid certificate in Moving and Handling. You'll also need the right to live and work in the UK. Ultimately, we are looking for a Care Assistant who has a genuine passion for care and will continuously strive for the best possible outcomes for the children they care for.

Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
