Many vulnerable individuals in your community need health and social care to enable them to live a safe and fulfilling life in their own home. By working with us as a Care Assistant in Hereford, you can help them to make the most of every day.

In this role, you'll be joining a small healthcare team providing 2:1 care in the home of a female service user living with complex healthcare needs and challenging behaviour. Your various duties will include supporting with personal care, preparing meals, helping out while she eats and assisting with daily living tasks to support her mother.

Shift patterns: Tuesdays and Thursdays 15:30-19:30, Fridays 15:00-19:00, Saturdays 9:00-13:00 and Sundays 9:00-17:00.

About you

You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate Care Assistant, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. The right to work in the UK is essential.
