As a Support Worker in Newport and the surrounding areas on the Isle of Wight, you’ll get involved in delivering care to individuals with complex healthcare needs within their own homes. Your daily activities will involve assisting with personal care tasks, clinical needs, posture care, meal preparation, social activities and providing emotional support. Specialist training will be given, tailored to the packages of care you work on.

Full time and part time hours available: Monday to Sunday (07:00-20:00). Additional hours are available across other settings.

Support Worker requirements

To join our team, you’ll already have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience of caring for a loved one. The right to work in the UK is a must. As well as excellence in care, we also need you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift.

Access to your own mode of transport would be beneficial but isn't required.
