Do you want to make a difference to the lives of individuals with complex healthcare needs?

At Newcross Healthcare, we believe that everyone deserves to receive the highest standard of care in their own home. We’re actively seeking Care Assistants to join our team in Bude, Holsworthy and the surroundings. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a team on specific care packages on a regular basis.

In this role, you will be working in the homes of our service users alongside health and social care professionals to assist with personal care tasks, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs, social activities and any additional services needed.

Shifts patterns: 7-hour shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 09:30-16:30.

Perks of the job

  • An hourly rate of up to £13.15, including holiday pay
  • Get paid as soon as you finish a shift with instant Flexi Pay
  • Free uniform and DBS check
  • Fixed hours on a rota basis
  • Access to Newcross World, a new world of learning, to manage skills, learn new ones and unlock new opportunities in the care sector
  • Access to NHS registered GPs and mental health support with virtual appointments

Flexi Pay!

The Flexi Pay feature on our app, HealthForceGo, allows healthcare staff to receive an instant advance of up to 50% of the value of their completed shifts. Includes weekends and bank holidays!

Does this sound like you?

You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. The right to work in the UK is essential.

Applicants must be over 25 with a full clean license (this is due to insurance reasons for driving the client's vehicle).
