Join Newcross Healthcare as a Care Assistant in Chard, Crewkerne, Ilminster and the surrounding areas. You will love the variety that comes with working alongside a small health and social care team to provide person-centred care in the homes of our service users. This role involves assisting with personal care tasks, posture care, clinical needs, medication support, feeding and PEG care, social activities and any additional services required. Specialist training will be provided by our full-time nurses.

Here’s what you’ll need to apply

You’ll already have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience of caring for a loved one. The right to work in the UK is a must. As well as excellence in care, we also need you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift.

Access to your own mode of transport would be beneficial but isn't mandatory.
