We’re recruiting for a Care Assistant to join our team in Inverurie, Huntly and the surrounds, delivering quality care in the home. This role involves working as part of a small health and social care team to support service users with day-to-day activities, in line with their individual care plans. You'll be working in the homes of our service users to assist with clinical needs, personal care tasks, posture care, meal preparation, feeding and PEG care, social activities and any other services needed. Specialist training will be given, tailored to the packages of care you work on.

You will need previous experience working in palliative care, children's services and with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.

What we're looking for

To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You may need to assist clients with limited mobility, however, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process. You must be willing to be SSSC registered. The right to work in the UK is essential. Access to your own vehicle is essential.

Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
