As a Care Assistant in Plymouth, Ivybridge and the surrounds, you’ll reap the rewards of enabling people to live every day to its fullest potential. You'll work harmoniously as part of a health and social care team to provide vital care to vulnerable people in your area. In this role, you'll be working in the homes of our service users to assist them with various complex healthcare tasks, in line with individual care plans.

Prior experience in airway management, cough assist, Tracheostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP support and Nebulisers is required.

Day and night shift patterns are available for this role.

About you

You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate Care Assistant, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle is desirable and the right to work in the UK is mandatory.
