At Newcross Healthcare, we’re actively seeking a Care Assistant to join our team in Eastbourne and the surrounding area, to provide high-quality care within the homes of our service users. In this role, you'll be caring for children and adults living with complex healthcare needs, supporting them with personal care tasks, social activities, meal preparation and general day-to-day living tasks.
Additional opportunities are available for applicants to care for service users living with Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, PEG Feeding, Tracheostomy Care, Challenging Behaviour, Spinal Injuries, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Ventilated Care and Muscular Dystrophy.
Care Assistant requirements
We require all complex care workers to have at least 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You’ll need to be a real people person and always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes are met. You'll be required to have a valid Moving and Handling certificate and the right to work in the UK. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
