Job description

Do you have experience of caring for children with complex needs?

As a Care Assistant in Brighton, Sussex and the surrounds, you'll join a team of health and social care professionals delivering quality care to children with cerebral palsy as part of a paediatric care package. You'll be responsible for delivering the highest standard of care to ensure that our service users are comfortable, content and can continue receiving the care they need within their own homes. In this role, you'll be supporting with medication needs, epilepsy, catheter care, feeding and PEG care and nebulisers.

This role involves day shifts and waking nights.

About you

You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. The right to work in the UK is essential.
