We’re recruiting a Care Assistant to join our team in the Lewisham area, delivering quality care in the home. This role involves working as part of a small health and social care team to support people with day-to-day activities, in line with their individual care plans. Your day-to-day role will involve aiding with with personal care tasks, clinical needs, feeding and PEG care, Tracheostomy, social activities and any additional services needed. Specialist training will be given, tailored to the packages of care you work on, so this is a great chance to upskill in new areas.
Days and waking night shifts are available for this role.
We also ask for...
You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. The right to work in the UK is essential.
