Do you have experience of caring for individuals with complex needs?

We’re actively seeking a Male Care Assistant to join our team in the  Isle of Wight, Freshwater, Totland and the surrounding area, encouraging our service users to live a rich, independent life. In this role, you’ll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative health and social care team, delivering care in the homes of children and adults with complex healthcare needs. Your main tasks will include:

  • supporting them with clinical requirements
  • medication support
  • personal care tasks
  • PEG care
  • social activities and any other services required

About you

We require all complex care workers to have around 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You’ll need to be a real people person and always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes are met.

You’ll need to be happy assisting clients who may have limited mobility, and have a valid Moving and Handling certificate. The right to work in the UK is required.

Access to a vehicle is desirable, but not a requirement.
