Do you have experience of caring for individuals with complex needs?

We’re actively seeking a Female Care Assistant to join our team in Colchester, Sudbury and the surrounding area, encouraging our service users to live a rich, independent life. In this role, you’ll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative health and social care team, delivering care in the homes of service users with complex healthcare needs. You’ll follow each individual’s care plan, playing a key role in assisting with getting ready for bed, ready for school, re-positioning and exercise during the night and a low level of personal care support.

Please note: You will be completing waking night shifts for three nights per week.

About you

  • You will need around  months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one
  • A current Moving and Handling certificate is required
  • You must have a passion for caring for others and have the natural ability of putting a smile on people's faces
  • The right to work in the UK is essential 
  • You will need a smartphone device with internet
  • Access to a vehicle is beneficial, but not a requirement
