Job Title:         Community Care Business Development Executive

Reporting to:   Head of Business Development, Community Care

Location:          Remote based in the South (covering, South Coast, South West and Isle of Wight) there is an expectation to travel when required

Salary:             £40,000 + up to £40,000 annual bonus+ car allowance                     

Hours:              Core hours are Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)

Who are you?

As a Community Care Business Development Executive with Newcross Healthcare, you will be at the forefront of our mission, driving forward new business initiatives and fostering growth in community care services across the Southern region. Your role will be pivotal in crafting and implementing innovative strategies that elevate our presence and further enhance our service offerings, making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

What will you do?

Whilst a full job description can be supplied here are a few of the key responsibilities for the role:

  • Developing and expanding new business streams strategically in collaboration with our branch network.
  • Collaborating closely with the Head of Business Development and the Operations Manager of Community Care to define and execute tailored business development and sales strategies for specific markets.
  • Generating new business by actively canvassing, visiting, and securing clients both existing and new throughout the region.
  • Identifying and pursuing tender opportunities, as well as providing support in the bid writing process.
  • Conducting thorough market research to understand competitors and formulate cost-effective complex care packages to meet client requirements.
  • Mentoring and training Branch Managers to enhance their sales techniques, ensuring the achievement of expansion targets and budgets.
  • Establishing and nurturing effective relationships with stakeholders including social services, commissioning teams, case managers, and integrated commissioning boards.
  • Collaborating with Community Care Registered Managers and Critical Care Nurse Teams to assess individual suitability for community care provision and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of regulations, compliance, and risk assessments related to new business opportunities.
  • Managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines, including conducting a minimum number of sales visits per week and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the health and social care and acute healthcare market, ideally as a healthcare professional.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth, working closely with litigation and commissioners
  • Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding targets within a business development or sales role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the capability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-sufficiency, quick thinking, and a collaborative team player, consistently delivering high-performance outcomes.
  • Commitment to upholding values, principles, quality, and safety standards in all aspects of your work.
