As a Registered Nurse (Nights) you’ll bring

The ability to lead teams of healthcare workers, be quick thinking, make the right decisions at the right time and bring your nursing training to life with person-centred care.

  • Passion, patience and understanding
  • A desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need.
  • NMC registration
  • 6-months of paid patient-facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility and professionalism
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Tracheostomy, ventilation and/or resuscitation experience is highly desirable.

Make a difference to an individual's life

In this role, you will be delivering person-centred care in the home of a child with complex healthcare needs. You will be providing medical aid during the night with various complex tasks including tracheostomy care, PEG care, ventilation and assisting the service user during episodes of desaturation. Our service user lives at home with her parents and their dog. She loves messy play, reading books, horses, and her favourite film is Black Beauty.

The service user is currently learning Makaton to enable them communicate with others, but they also uses facial expressions and gestures to communicate their needs.

Shifts: waking nights, 7 nights a week (22:00 – 08:00).
