Role requirements

As a Community Care Worker you’ll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing. You’ll need:

• At least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
• The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
• A valid Moving and Handling certificate
• The right to work in the UK
• This position requires applicants to be registered with Social Care Wales (SCW).

You could make a difference to an individual’s life

As part of this role, you will be supporting a 16-year-old female with access to local activities and groups, she particularly enjoys swimming, music, reading and languages. She uses assistive tech for communication, is partially sighted and has been diagnosed cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus.

You will be providing 2:1 support for 2 days a week during school holidays.

The shifts for this role are from 9am to 4pm or from 10am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
