Role requirements

As a Community Support Worker you’ll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing. You’ll need:

• At least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
• The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
• A valid Moving and Handling certificate
• The right to work in the UK
• It is highly desirable that you are a driver for this role

Make a difference to an individual’s life

As part of this position, you will be caring for a male service user giving him the opportunity to live his best life, be more independent and get back to activities and a mobility within the community that he has not achieved recently.

The shifts for this role are of 24 hour shifts with a paid sleep in from the hours of 08:00 - 20:00 and 20:00 - 08:00.

Full training is provided including Medication training, Challenging behaviour, Autism awareness and MAPA.
