This Community Support Worker role pays an hourly rate of up to £15.24 per hour, including holiday pay. As a Community Support Worker you’ll bring
You have an ability to develop relationships with people and are adept at managing challenging situations. You combine a good knowledge of equipment and a talent for dealing with the specific circumstances and needs of each individual’s life.
- Passion, patience and understanding
- A desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need.
- At least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
- Comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility
- A valid Moving and Handling certificate.
- The right to work in the UK
- Applicants will need to have previous experience of supporting service users in palliative care, children's services, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities
- This position requires applicants to be registered with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
