Job description

Job role: Operating Department Practitioner

Newcross Healthcare is currently recruiting an Operating Department Practitioner in Liverpool and the surrounding area. This role offers up to £20.42 per hour (including holiday pay). Various shift patterns are available, including full-time and part-time hours.

In this role, you will work as part of a clinical team to prepare operation theatres, support with surgeries and assist across the theatres and hospital. You will also be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients before, during and after surgery to ensure the best possible outcomes are met at all times.

To join us as an ODP, you will need

  • At least 12 months experience from within the past 2 years in the UK

  • Current NMC registration

  • Strong communication skills, teamwork and professionalism

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Access to a vehicle would be desirable but is not essential
