Social Media Manager

Remote / Work from home – Ideally located within the South of England

Hours: 37.5 hpw, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

Basic salary: £45,000 PA DOE + annual bonus of up 10% of salary

The role…

As our Social Media Manager you will have an excellent understanding of the nuances of the different social media channels. You will lead the ongoing development and delivery of our paid, owned, earned social media strategy and will manage the social media governance model overseeing the execution of paid social programs, measuring and optimising social media performance metrics, and developing enhanced reporting.

Key elements of your role will include:

  • Developing social-first creative ideas, concepts and assets for Newcross Healthcare
  • Primary focus on content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google channels
  • Produce high-quality, visually engaging designs and maximising the use of creative social formats available on each platform
  • Work collaboratively with the team producing social media content to ensure written, video and graphic content is well developed, consistent across channels and complies with internal standards
  • Based on deep insight into social media effectiveness, exercise judgment and advise internal stakeholders regarding message tone, format, scheduling, and audience to ensure the most effective approach to achieving social media goals
  • Manage social design projects from conception through to production
  • Develop a social media content plan aligned to the wider marcomms plan
  • Define the most important social Media KPIs for each of the platforms and our goals for each piece of content
  • Measure the ongoing success of social media campaigns and multi-variant testing
  • Understand the types of work that Newcross is providing across all lines of business to make sure all messaging and content is aligned to our goals and amplification strategy
  • Attention to detail – this will be a prime objective whether you are communicating internally or externally

You enjoy building and maintaining strong and effective relationships both internally and externally whilst organising and prioritising multiple deadlines and commitments. Have excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media best practices, are data driven with strong analytical skills and well versed in maintaining awareness of state-of-the-art techniques, equipment, best practices and developments within the design community.

You will also need:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing or any business-related degree
  • 4 years or more experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools. (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
