As a Support Worker (Homelessness Service), you’ll make a difference in people’s lives by providing tailored support and care to service users. You'll assist with all housing and non-housing appointments, completing forms and applying for appropriate benefits.

Support Worker (Homelessness Service) requirements

You’ll be an enthusiastic homelessness support worker who is committed to helping vulnerable people improve their lives and make positive changes. You’ll need:

  • 6 months experience in homelessness as a support worker within the last 3 years
  • Previous experience working in supported housing
  • The right to work in the UK
  • IT competency
  • Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in a related field (A)
  • Knowledge of the benefits system (A,I)
