Joining Newcross as a Support Worker in Worcester and the surrounding area, you’ll take the variety and challenges that every day brings in your stride, with a positive mental attitude and brilliant sense of humour. Keen to build lasting relationships with service users and their families while you provide support for them within their own home, you’ll be on hand to help with a variety of tasks. You'll become part of a small health and social care team to assist with some healthcare tasks such as medication, PEG and tracheostomy care. You'll also be required to assist with eating, social activities and providing emotional support.

Shift patterns include day shifts (9:30am-7pm / 8am-8pm) and night shifts (10pm-7am / 8pm-8am).

Does this sound like you?

As a complex care Support Worker, you'll need at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and will hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. Ultimately, you’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. The right to work in the UK is essential.
