Job description

We are seeking healthcare professionals just like you to join the Newcross team!

As a Support Worker in Marlborough and the surrounding area, you’ll work as part of a dedicated health and social care team to support a service user who is Quadriplegic within their own home. Your day-to-day tasks will include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, clinical needs, Tracheostomy, PEG care and any other services needed. Our service user is a social individual who like animals such as cats, dogs and horses. They enjoy going out and about and hosting dinner parties, so this is a chance to become a true companion to our client.

Shift patterns: Sunday to Monday, days from 8am to 8pm and nights from 8pm to 8am.

About you

We require all complex care workers to have at least 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You’ll need to be a real people person and always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes are met. You will need to have a valid Moving and Handling certificate. The right to work in the UK is required.

You will need to hold a valid UK drivers licence as you will have access to the service user's mobility car.

Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
