As a Support Worker in Bridgwater, Taunton, Wellington and the surroundings, you’ll get involved in delivering care to children with complex healthcare needs within their own homes. You'll become a valued member of our dedicated health and social care team. Your daily activities will involve assisting with personal care tasks, tracheostomy, posture care, epilepsy, ventilation, providing emotional support and any additional services required. Specialist training will be given, tailored to the packages of care you work on.

Support Worker requirements

We look for Support Workers with at least 3 months of experience caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll also need to feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. If you do not have a current Moving and Handling certificate, we will support you with training during your induction period. The right to work in the UK is essential. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
