As a Support Worker in Bridgwater and the surrounding areas, you’ll reap the rewards of enabling people to live every day to its fullest potential. You'll work harmoniously as part of a health and social care team to provide vital care to vulnerable children within their own homes. Your various responsibilities will include aiding with clinical requirements, personal care tasks, making up beds, feeding and PEG care, social activities and any additional complex care tasks required.
Shift patterns include Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm with more flexibility available during the school holidays.
Does this sound like you?
You’ll already have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience of caring for a loved one. The right to work in the UK is a must. As well as excellence in care, we also need you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Access to your own mode of transport would be beneficial.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
