As a Support Worker in Taunton, Bridgwater, Wellington and the surroundings, you’ll be providing support and assistance to enable the people in your care to live their life and make the most of each day. Your duties will be varied including assisting with personal care tasks, feeding and PEG care, clinical requirements, making up beds, meal preparation, social activities and any additional tasks required. You will become part of a small health and social care team working in the homes of our service users.
Shift patterns: waking nights and 12-hour day shifts.
Additional opportunities are available to work in ventilation, epilepsy and tracheostomy care.

You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate Support Worker, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. The right to work in the UK is essential.
