Could you be our next caregiving hero?
As a Support Worker in Plymouth and the surrounding area, you’ll be providing support and assistance to enable the people in your care to live their life and make the most of each day. In this role, you'll be working alongside a small health and social care team in the homes of our service users. Your duties will be varied, with some healthcare support needed, while you may also be required to assist with trips out in the community, eating, shopping, social activities, appointments and day-to-day tasks such as money management and dressing.
Experience in paediatric care, autism, challenging behaviour and de-escalation would be advantageous.
Do you meet the requirements?
You’ll be an empathetic and compassionate Support Worker, with at least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You’ll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You’ll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people living with complex healthcare needs. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. The right to work in the UK is essential.
