Job Title: IT Apprentice

Reporting to: Head of IT

Location: Head Office, Berry Pomeroy

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: Starting salary of £13,000 PA gradually increasing to £18,000 PA over 12 month period subject to successful progress

The role…

You will be a natural people person and enjoy working with other in a team. You will also be flexible and be able to respond to short term requests whilst also remaining organised. You will probably already have a great in-depth knowledge and understanding of IT, but we will be there to support you and improve the skills that you already possess.

With the help of Arch's Infrastructure Technician programme, learners will be provided materials to become confident in providing first line support for the business. Whilst developing new skills you will also gain seven qualification, with six from vendors including Microsoft and BCS.

You will be balancing your studies and assisting with the following tasks:

  • First point of call for telephone support
  • Setting up new users and members of staff
  • Responding to help desk tickets
  • Assist with setting up computers
  • Deactivating leaver accounts
  • Resetting passwords
