Care Assistant - Personal Home Carer
Are you proud to care?
As a Care Assistant in Crawley and the surrounds, you'll be well-practiced at multitasking and enjoy the variety of tasks that come with delivering care in the home. You'll be supporting adults and children with a range of tasks such as personal care tasks, posture care, meal preparation, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.
This role provides you with a unique chance to really grow in your career, take on new responsibilities and enjoy the lasting relationships that build with service users and their support networks. With your help, the people in your care can continue living in their own home, rather than living away from their loved ones in a specialist unit.
You'll already have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience of caring for a loved one. The right to work in the UK is a must. As well as excellence in care, we also need you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. You will need a smart device with internet access to pick up shifts and submit timesheets via our app, HealthForceGo. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required.
Our Flexi Pay is an app feature that enables you to gain instant access to an advance of up to 50% of the value of your shifts even on weekends and bank holidays!
What you'll benefit from
- An hourly rate of up to £14.89, including holiday pay
- Get paid as soon as you finish a shift with instant Flexi Pay
- Fixed hours on a rota basis
- Free, ongoing clinical training
