Newcross Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to care and support our service users living in Kilmarnock, Beith and the surrounding areas.

Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide dedicated care and support to our service users in line with their personal care plans. You will assist with personal care tasks, clinical requirements, social integration activities and any additional services required.

Person specification

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • Previous experience for at least 3 months in a similar care environment
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course completed within the last 12 months (or you are willing to complete one with Newcross Healthcare)
  • Access to a smart phone or device, with internet access to manage your rotas and timesheets via our mobile app HealthForceGo
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory

If you have a NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or working in a supporting role you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process.

Newcross Healthcare's Ayr branch is based in Bath Place, a short walk from the seafront, a 15-minute walk away from the train station and is easily accessible by car or bus.
