Newcross Healthcare is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to care for our service users living in Witham and the surrounding areas.

What will I do?

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that service users receive high-quality care and support in line with their personal care plans. These tasks will vary but include personal care activities, making beds, serving meals, clinical requirements and encouraging service users to integrate within their local communities.

What will I require?

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • Previous experience for at least 3 months in a similar care role
  • Referees that can attest to your employment for the past 3 years
  • Certification confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months (or you are willing to book on to a Newcross Healthcare course)
  • You will need access to a smartphone or device - iPhone (5s or later), iPad or iPod touch compatible with IOS 8.0 (or later) or Android device with a 4.3 operating system (or later), with internet access to manage your rotas and submit your timesheets via our app HealthForceGo
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
