Newcross Healthcare is seeking Support Workers to work with our service users in Wrexham, Llangollen and the surrounding areas through our friendly Chester branch. Take advantage of a free uniform, free DBS check, free ongoing training programs and pay rates up to £13.72/hr.

Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide care to our service users living in Wrexham, Llangollen and the surrounding areas.

What will I do?

As a Support Worker, you will provide continuous person-centred care and support to service users with various needs. You will provide assistance with a variety of different of daily living tasks, day-to-day activities, social integration, rehabilitation and providing overall encouragement.

It is highly desirable that you have previous experience of working with homeless people, former substance users, vulnerable people and people that have challenging behaviour.

What will I need?

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months previous paid experience working in a care or support role or environment
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employment within the past 3 years
  • A certificate to confirm your participation in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months (or you are willing to pay for a practical Moving and Handling Newcross course)
  • You will need access to a smart device, with internet access to manage your payslips, rotas and timesheets on our app HealthForceGo
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
