Care Assistant - Children
We need people like you to help make a true differenceJoin Newcross today as a Care Assistant in Bridgwater and the surroundings. You will love the variety that comes with working alongside a small health and social care team to provide person-centred care in the homes of our service users. This role involves assisting adults and children living with complex healthcare needs and your main duties will include aiding them with personal care, clinical needs, management of epilepsy, PEG care and medication support . You'll be supporting them throughout the night to provide quality care in line with their individual care plans. Specialist training will be provided by our full-time nurses.
Shift patterns: night shifts include 22:00-07:00, and day shifts include 08:30-15:30 (Monday to Friday).
The ideal candidate
You'll be a skilled carer, with at least 3 months of experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, a valid certificate in Moving and Handling and the right to work in the UK. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
