As a Care Assistant in the Cowes area of the Isle of Wight, you'll join a small health and social care team to provide high-quality care to children within their own homes. Your various responsibilities will include, though aren't limited to, assisting with personal care tasks, social activities, clinical needs, feeding and PEG care, posture care and medication support.

This position is for permanent nights on a rolling rota.

Do you have what we're looking for?

To join us as a Care Assistant, you'll need at least 3 months of professional caregiving experience of having cared for a loved one. You'll need to feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. If you do not have a current Moving and Handling certificate, we will support you with training during your induction period. You'll need to be a real people person with a desire to help others.

The right to work in the UK is a must-have, as is access to a smart device. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial but is not a requirement.

Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
