At Newcross, we are searching for positive, experienced Care Assistants to join the team in Torquay, Brixham, Dawlish and the surrounding areas. You'll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of those in your care. You will be required to work day and night shifts while caring for children. You'll work as part of a small team in the homes of our clients. Your varying duties will include following care plans, assisting service users with their food and drink, clinical needs and supporting them with social activities. You will receive professional training tailored to the package of care you'll be working on.

What we're looking for

To apply for this rewarding role, you will need a minimum of 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You'll need to be an approachable and understanding person, ready to become a key part of your service users' support network. You will also need a valid certificate in Moving and Handling. Access to your own vehicle is desirable. The right to work in the UK is essential.
