Care Assistant - Personal Home carer

We're seeking professional Care Assistants in Bridgwater to provide outstanding care to our service users. You will have the natural ability to put a smile on people's faces and build meaningful and lasting relationships on every shift.
You will work alongside a group of health and social care workers in the home of our service users, and your main duties will include supporting with personal care, posture care, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.

What you need
We look for carers with at least 3 months of professional caring experience. We do also accept applications from individuals with experience in caring for a loved one. However, we're not just looking for clinical experience - we also want candidates to demonstrate occasions where they have exhibited our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness.
You'll need to feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. If you do not have a current Moving and Handling certificate, we will support you with training during your induction period.
The right to work in the UK is a must-have, as is access to a smart device. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
